Bouncing Ball

Using what I learned during the timing and spacing assignment, I was tasked with creating a bouncing ball that would react with 3 different obstacles. I had to show the ball squishing and bouncing back up after it hit a wall and it losing momentum towards the end. This assignment required the timing to be perfect and the right amount of spacing for the frames so the ball wasn't stagnant in energy for the the duration of the assignment. Below is the final video of my bouncing ball!

Time and Spacing

For this assignment we learned about time and spacing. Some of the techniques we used were linear, slow in, slow out, slow in/out, overshoot/settle, and vibration. Using Harmony, we created "balls" that would move across the timeline and perform a specific technique. Some of them required shorter frames in the beginning and longer ones at the end, but others required the opposite or maybe both. Below are 2 videos of me using the different techniques in Harmony!
